-It can be normal for the body to oversupply milk in the first few weeks of your baby's life. Over time your breasts will adjust and will provide the right amount to meet your baby's needs.
-If this abundance of milk is making it hard for your baby to cope with the initial rapid flow then you can express (either by hand or pump) a small amount of milk before the feed.
-Always allow your baby to demand feed and to empty one breast per feed. It is good to offer the second breast but do not be worried if baby refuses.
